Not more than an year after a Swedish Company IKEA opens its largest store in the city .The city is now welcoming all the top companies to invest . Last month Hyderabad (21st August) welcomes the worlds top E-Commerce giant Amazon opens its worlds largest campus at Nanakram guda, Hyderabad and expected to work with 26000-30000 employees in 54 various departments . Amazon also planning to expand its fulfillment center which is already working at RGIA Airport from 4 Lakh Sf.t To 5.50 Lakh Sf.t to give competition to India's E-Commerce giant Flipart which will create huge employment in Telangana.
Soon after Amazon opens now the Chinese mobile company One-Plus announced that it will open its worlds largest R& D center in Hyderabad with Rs 1000 Crores investment at tech Park close to the Financial District of Hyderabad. Which increases the current employees 200 to 1500-2000 by the year 2021. This show the employment growth in the city. Founder CEO Pete Lau said that he is coming to meet minister of It Telangana and Chief Minister of Telangana to discuss about the R& D Center .Source:-Business Standard
The smart phone maker currently operates five R&D centres -- three in China and one each in Taiwan and the US, with Shenzen facility being the largest among them.
